An approach was established to analyze the chemical profiling of Xiao-Cheng-Qi Decoction (XCQD) using liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry. XCQD consisted of three herbal medicines (Rhubarb, Fructus Aurantii Immaturus and Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis).
