From the bark extract of Artocarpus nobilis Thw. (Moraceae) six new chromenoflavonoids have been isolated. Five of them have been characterised and named artobilochromen (1), chromanoartobilochromen b(8), (–)-dihydrofuranoartobilochromen a(12), (–)-dihydrofuranoartobilochromen b1(14), and dihydrofuranoartobilochromen b2(13). Artobilochromen (1) with formic acid gave chromanoartobilochromens a(7) and b(8), and with dichlorodicyanobenzoquinone gave (±)-dihydrofuranoartobilochromen a(12).

Stilbene derivatives with antifungal and radical scavenging properties from the Stem Bark of artocarpus nobilis
Two stilbene derivatives showed strong antifungal activity against Cladosporium cladosporioides and high radical scavenging activity towards the DPPH radical in TLC bio-autography method.
Bioactive prenylated flavonoids from the stem bark ofartocarpus kemando
Four known prenylated flavonoids, artonins E, O, E and O, and cycloartobiloxanthone were isolated from the stem bark of Artocarpus kemando by bioassayguided fractionation using the DNA strand-scission and the KB cytotoxicity assays as monitors.
Prenylated flavonoids and related compounds of the Indonesian Artocarpus (Moraceae)
Several species of the genus Artocarpus (Moraceae) have been investigated in our laboratories during the last decade. Over 60 phenolic constituents have been discovered and characterized, including
Flavones and Flavonols
Most reports on the identification of known flavonoids in new plant sources as well as those on novel flavonoids naturally deal with the two most abundant classes, the flavones and flavonols. For
New NMR Structure Determination Methods for Prenylated Phenols
Recently, the occurrences of isoprenoid-substituted phenols from natural sources have become fairly familiar. Over the past 20 years, there have been increasing reports of isoprenylated compounds
