Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. (G. uralensis) is one of the most widely used herbal medicines. This study was designed to enrich total flavonoids (TFF) from G. uralensis. The chemical profile of TFF was identified by HPLC and colorimetric assay. The TFF mainly contained liquiritin apioside, liquiritin, isoliquiritin apioside, liquiritigenin and isoliquiritigenin without glycyrrhizic acid. To study the anti-inflammatory activity of TFF, the DMB-induced ear vasodilatation assay and carrageenan… Expand

Synthesis and Biological Assessment of 2-Hydroxyiminoethanones as Anti-Inflammatory and β-Amyloid Aggregation Inhibitors
2-Hydeoxyiminoethanones are privileged scaffold for further drug research and development as anti-neuroinflammatory and neuroprotective agents and showed significant anti-inflammatory activity in carrageenan-induced paw edema. Expand

[Effects of glycyrrhizin acid and licorice flavonoids on LPS-induced cytokines expression in macrophage].
The data presented here suggested that the glycyrrhizin acid and licorice flavonoids modulate various cytokines secreted by macrophages and were important anti-inflammatory constituent of Licorice. Expand
Anti-Inflammatory and Analgesic Activity of Total Flavone of Cunninghamia lanceolata
It may be concluded that TFC showed both anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, showing that it can be of importance in drug development, especially in the field of pain and inflammation. Expand
[Study on in vitro anti-inflammatory activity of total flavonoids from Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma and its ingredients].
Activity-oriented extraction suggests that ethyl acetate fractions from Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma is one of components with anti-inflammatory activity. Expand
Anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory activities of the extracts from the inflorescence of Chrysanthemum indicum Linné.
Results reveal that CIBF possesses anti-inflammatory, humoral and cellular immunomodulatory and mononuclear phagocytic activities, probably due to the presence of flavonoids. Expand
Glycyrrhizin attenuates the development of carrageenan-induced lung injury in mice.
It is reported here that glycyrrhizin (given at 10 mg/kg i.p. 5 min prior to carrageenan) exerts potent anti-inflammatory effects in this model of acute inflammation, and prevention of the activation of NF-kappaB and STAT-3 by glycy rhoizin reduces the development of acuteinflammatory. Expand
Experimental study on anti-inflammatory activity of a TCM recipe consisting of the supercritical fluid CO2 extract of Chrysanthemum indicum, Patchouli Oil and Zedoary Turmeric Oil in vivo.
It is indicated that CPZ possessed a potent anti-inflammatory activity, which is indicated to be closely associated with its regulation on IL-1β and PGE(2) thereby mediating the inflammatory response acting at an appropriate level. Expand
