Thirteen species of the genus Cheilolejeunea (Lejeuneaceae) have been reported from Taiwan. This paper describes and illustrates C. nipponica (S. Hatt.) S. Hatt. as a new record in Taiwan, and provides with information on its habitats and distribution.
