We present a list of 720 species of ‘Psocoptera’ recorded in Colombia, based on the examination of specimens deposited in the collections of the Alexander von Humboldt Institute and in the Entomological Museum of the Universidad del Valle. We include records of specimens recently collected in several National Natural Parks and other natural areas in Colombia. Species previously recorded in the literature are also listed here. The number of psocids recorded in Colombia until 2002 (79 species…

Introduction: The knowledge on the diversity of psocids in Colombia has increased, following the global trend, but the main interest of most of the studies has been oriented to solve taxonomic
A checklist of ‘Psocoptera’ (Psocodea) from Brazil: an update to the list of 2009 of García Aldrete and Mockford, with an identification key to the families
The described species of Psocoptera currently known for Brazil are listed, with state distribution and biogeographic status. An identification key to the families recorded in Brazil is presented.

Diversidad de Psocoptera (Insecta: Psocodea) en el Parque Nacional Natural Gorgona (Océano Pacífico, Colombia)
TLDR
Although there was no significant difference in the diversity estimated by the Shannon-Wiener index, high species richness and abundance were recorded for the Beaches and Village habitats, where the psocid community of Gorgona occurs mainly where vegetation cover is low.

TLDR
Two sister species of Loneura constitute a new species group that modifies the scheme of classification, proposed earlier for the genus by García Aldrete et al. (2011b) by having the central sclerite of the male hypandrium with four posterior projections.
