is designated in the colophon of a copy of the tadhkira kept at Meshhed.22 Ibn alFuwatI, the librarian appointed by Tushimself at Maraghah, in effect adds corroborating evidence. TUsii, according to the librarian, composed his tadhkirah for cIzz al-Din al-Zinjani. But the latter did not reach Tabriz until after a journey of several years from Central Asia, a trip which could not have started before 654 H., when he was still in Baghdad.23
