We construct new charged static solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell field equations in five dimensions via a solution generation technique utilizing the symmetries of the reduced Lagrangian. By applying our method on the multi-Reissner-Nordstrom solution in four dimensions, we generate the multi-Reissner-Nordstrom solution in five dimensions. We focus on the five-dimensional solution describing a pair of charged black objects with general masses and electric charges. This solution includes the…

Double-black-hole solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory in five dimensions

We describe a solution-generating technique that will map a static charged solution of the Einstein-Maxwell theory in four (or five) dimensions to a five-dimensional solution of the

Five-dimensional electrostatic black holes in a background field

Analogs of the double-Reissner-Nordström solution in magnetostatics and dilaton gravity: Mathematical description and basic physical properties

In this paper we consider a magnetic analog of the double-Reissner-Nordstr\"om solution and construct the corresponding magnetic potential ${A}_{\ensuremath{\varphi}}$ in the explicit form. The

Charged dilatonic black rings and black saturns and their thermodynamics

In this article charged black rings and black saturns are constructed in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory in five dimensions. The neutral black ring and black saturn solutions are embedded in six

Solitonic generation of vacuum solutions in five-dimensional general relativity

We describe a solitonic solution-generating technique in the five-dimensional general relativity. Reducing the five-dimensional problem to the four-dimensional one, we can systematically obtain
