We investigate the performance of the Lipkin-Meshkov-Glick quantum battery based on shortcuts to adiabaticity (STA). We mainly consider the situation where the coupling strength of any two sites in the quantum battery is a sinusoidal function with respect to time. The charging efficiency of the quantum battery can be greatly enhanced via STA. We also analyze the influences of parameters, including particle number, anisotropic parameter, the amplitude and frequency of the driving fields. It is found…

Fast and stable charging via a shortcut to adiabaticity

Quantum battery is an emerging subject in the field of quantum thermodynamics, which is applied to charge, store and dispatch energy in quantum systems. In this work, we propose a fast and stable

Enhanced energy transfer in a Dicke quantum battery

We theoretically investigate the enhancement of the charging power in a Dicke quantum battery which consists of an array of $N$ two-level systems (TLS) coupled to a single mode of cavity photons. In

Collectively enhanced high-power and high-capacity charging of quantum batteries via quantum heat engines.

As a model of so-called quantum battery (QB), quantum degrees of freedom as energy storage, we study a charging protocol of a many-body QB consisting of $N$ two-level systems (TLSs) using quantum

NMR investigations of quantum battery using star-topology spin systems

Theoretical explorations have revealed that quantum batteries can exploit quantum correlation to achieve faster charging, thus promising exciting applications in future technologies. Using NMR

Quantum Battery with Non-Hermitian Charging

We propose a design of a quantum battery exploiting the non-Hermitian Hamiltonian as a charger. In particular, starting with the ground or the thermal state of the interacting (non-interacting)

Dimensional enhancements in a quantum battery with imperfections

Power storage devices are shown to increase their efficiency if they are designed by using quantum systems. We show that the average power output of a quantum battery based on a quantum interacting

Boosting quantum battery performance by structure engineering

Friction-free quantum machines

The operation of a quantum heat engine in finite time generally faces a trade-off between efficiency and power. Using shortcuts to adiabaticity (STA), this trade off can be avoided to engineer
