We provide a 2-fluid immiscible matter source that supplies fuel to construct wormhole spacetime. The exact wormhole solutions are found in the model having, besides real matter or ordinary matter, some quintessence matter along with charge distribution. We intend to derive a general metric of a charged wormhole under some density profiles of galaxies that is also consistent with the observational profile of rotation curve of galaxies. We have shown that the effective mass remains positive as…

Wormholes supported by two non-interacting fluids

We provide a new matter source that supplies fuel to construct wormhole spacetime. The exact wormhole solutions are found in the model having, besides real matter, an anisotropic dark energy. We have

Exact solutions of a charged wormhole

In this paper, the backreaction to the traversable Lorentzian wormhole spacetime by the scalar field or electric charge is considered to find the exact solutions. The charges play the role of the

Traversable asymptotically flat wormholes in Rastall gravity

There are some gravitational theories in which the ordinary energy-momentum conservation law is not valid in the curved spacetime. Rastall gravity is one of the known theories in this regard which

On the feasibility of charged wormholes

While wormhole spacetimes are predictions of the general theory of relativity, specific solutions may not be compatible with quantum field theory. This paper modifies the charged wormhole model of

Wormholes in fractional action cosmology

In this work we study wormholes solutions based on fractional action cosmology. We discuss cosmic dynamics of the universe in the presence of wormhole and wormhole wave function in closed

Wormhole geometries with conformal motions

Exact solutions of traversable wormholes were recently found under the assumption of spherical symmetry and the existence of a non-static conformal symmetry. In this paper, we verify that in the case

Stable phantom-energy wormholes admitting conformal motions

The main purpose of this paper is to use the assumption of conformal symmetry to show that the wormhole is stable to linearized radial perturbations whenever − 1.5 < ω < −1.5.

Noncommutative-Geometry Inspired Charged Wormholes with Low Tidal Forces

When Morris and Thorne first proposed that wormholes might be actual physical structures suitable for interstellar travel, they needed to pay close attention to certain traversability conditions such

Wormholes Supported by a Combination of Normal and Quintessential Matter in Einstein and Einstein-Maxwell Gravity

It is shown in the first part of this paper that a combined model comprising ordinary and quintessential matter can support a traversable wormhole in Einstein-Maxwell gravity. Since the solution

Phantom wormholes in Einstein–Maxwell-dilaton theory

In this paper we give an electrically charged traversable wormhole solution for the Einstein–Maxwell-dilaton theory when the dilaton is a phantom field, i.e. it has flipped sign kinetic term
