  • Gammadelta T lymphocytes have a heterodimeric complex formed by the association of gamma and delta chains as receptor. Proliferation of this lymphocyte population has been observed, when infection by several pathogens such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Plasmodium spp. occurs.
