In isolated, constant-pressure perfused rat kidneys at basal vascular tone, injected P2 purinoceptor agonists evoked vasoconstriction (alpha, beta-methylene ATP > beta, gamma-methylene ATP > ATP-gamma-S > 2-methylthio ATP > ATP > ADP = UTP).
