OBJECTIVE To assess the potential involvement of cytokines and nitrites in the hyperpermeability characterizing the ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). DESIGN A controlled clinical study comparing peritoneal fluid (PF) from patients with severe OHSS and from non-OHSS controls.
