Allantoic fluid volume of the porcine conceptus undergoes dynamic changes throughout gestation. Volume (@ ±SEM) increases from Day 20 (3.7 ±0.3 ml) to an initial peak at Day 30 (189.0 ±5.6 ml) and then decreases to Day 40 (69.5 ±4.6 ml). It increases to a second mid gestation peak on Day 58 (451.3 ±53.5 ml) and then steadily decreases to Day 112 (23.8 ±5.5 ml).
