In this study the influence of amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) on the setting of, and the formed apatite crystallite size in, a calcium phosphate cement (CPC) based on alpha-tricalcium phosphate (alpha-TCP) or tetracalcium phosphate (TTCP)/monocalcium phosphate monohydrate (MCPM) was investigated.
