Plasma-membrane vesicles were purified by aqueous-polymer two-phase partitioning of a microsomal membrane fraction from rye (Secale cereale L.) roots and incorporated into planar 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl phosphatidylethanolamine bilayers.
