Throat swab, nasal swab, sputum, urine, serum, fecal, and environmental samples were collected from the patient and placed in viral transport medium. Viral RNA was extracted from samples by using the QIAamp MinElute Virus Spin Kit (QIAGEN, Valencia, CA, USA) according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
