Characterisation of vha26, the Drosophila gene for a 26 kDa E-subunit of the vacuolar ATPase.


A Drosophila melanogaster gene and cDNA for the E-subunit of the V-ATPase were characterised. The deduced product has 226 amino acids and a molecular mass of 26.1 kDa.
