In this study the acoustic characterisation of ultrasound contrast agents (UCA) for subharmonic imaging (SHI) using an Aixplorer (Supersonic Imagine, France) scanner was investigated. Dynamic contrast enhanced ultrasound (DCE-US) is a non-invasive imaging method providing a means of imaging the microvasculature.
