Publisher Summary Mafic dyke swarms are an important feature of the Proterozoic, and in parts of some stabilized Archaean, cratons may be the only significant geological event in perhaps 2 Ga. In less stable regions, the dyke swarms are affected by Proterozoic orogenic activity and can potentially be important time markers.
