Transmission and storage of digital medical images for telemedicine facilitates healthcare delivery. However, this gives rise to security concerns such as confidentiality integrity and reliability. In this paper, an efficient chaotic encryption scheme is proposed for gray scale medical images using Arnold cat map and pseudorandomly enhanced chaotic map.
