The wireless mesh networks (WMN) consists of mesh routers and mesh clients. The mesh routers have minimal mobility and form the back bone of the network. They also provide integration with mesh client and other conventional networks. In this, thesis proposes a channel assignment algorithm for improving the performance of WMNs.
