The present studies were conducted to examine the effects of single and repeated treatments with fluvoxamine, which is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), on the synaptic efficacy and synaptic plasticity in the rat hippocampo-medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) pathway in vivo.
