Changes in blood lymphocyte cytoplasmic refractive index following skin grafting in rabbits.

Abstract

A technique for measuring the refracrise in refractive index reaches or tive index of the cytoplasm of the exceeds the extreme normal range circulating blood lymphocytes of rabbetween the third and fifth day after bits is described. This parameter is application of the graft, with rejection remarkably constant in normal animals coming on the tenth day. It is sugbut shows a significant rise following gested that this technique is worth the application of skin homografts, but further investigation as a possible not of skin autographs, in rabbits. The early predictor of graft rejection.
