Checklist dos mamíferos do Estado de São Paulo, Brasil
TLDR
The objective is to produce more taxonomic work in several mammalian groups, and also studies focusing in the phylogeography and in the population genetics in order to effectively diagnose the mammal richness of the State, as well as the evolutionary processes responsible for this diversification.
Whales, dolphins or fishes? The ethnotaxonomy of cetaceans in São Sebastião, Brazil
TLDR
The results showed that fishers' ecological knowledge could be a valuable contribution to cetaceans' conservation, helping to determine areas and periods for their protection, indicating priority topics for research and participating in alternative management related to the gillnet fisheries.
A feeding association between Wilson’s Storm-petrels Oceanites oceanicus (Kuhl, 1820) and Rough-toothed Dolphins Steno bredanensis (G. Cuvier in Lesson, 1828)
TLDR
An interspecific association between Rough-toothed Dolphins and Wilson's Storm-petrels is recorded, although it could be expected given that S. bredanensis feeds on large fish and O. oceanicus is a known scavenger of kills made by cetaceans such as Killer Whales.
A review of cetacean occurrence in West African waters from the Gulf of Guinea to Angola
TLDR
The humpback whale Megaptera novaeangliae was the most widely recorded species, and was documented in 11 (85%) countries, while Angola had the most diverse cetacean community: 28 confirmed species.
A possible hybrid between the dusky dolphin (Lagenorhynchus obscurus) and the southern right whale dolphin (Lissodelphis peronii)
TLDR
It is proposed that the anomalous dolphins sighted in Golfo Nuevo, Peninsula Valdes, Argentina is a hybrid of these two dolphin species, L. obscurus and L. peronii.
Lista dos mamíferos do estado de Santa Catarina, sul do Brasil
TLDR
The mammal fauna from Santa Catarina State, southern Brazil, is one of the least known of the country and works on terrestrial mammals are scarce and new species of aquatic mammals have been registered in the last years.

Distribution of the South American dolphin Sotalia fluviatilis
TLDR
The southern limit of the range of the marine form of Sotalia is associated with the confluence zone of the Brazil and Falkland currents, suggesting that low sea-surface temperature is a limiting factor, whereas in fresh water the distribution of Amazonian SotalIA seems more closely related to the movements and concentrated occurrence of prey.
Revisión zoogeográfica marina del sur del Brasil
The zoogeography of the Tropical/Subtropical region of Southern Brazil is reviewed through a detailed analysis of numerous studies by different authors. Transition zones are established in the global
