STUDY DESIGN The supraspinous and interspinous ligaments, ligamentum flavum, and capsular and posterior longitudinal ligament strains were monitored during simulated frontal impact of whole cervical spine specimens with muscle force replication and compared with corresponding physiologic strain limits.
