Hemorrhage occurring at regions remote from the operative site is an infrequent complication. Although the mechanism remains unclear, previous reports implicate over drainage of cerebrospinal fluid as the predominant mechanism. The authors report two cases of cerebellar hemorrhage after supratentorial surgery. Two young patients underwent left hemispherectomy and fronto-temporal resection for the treatment of refractory hemispheric and multiregional epilepsy.
