Light Nonaqueous Phase Liquid (LNAPL) contamination of subsoil is a serious problem because it affects human health and the environment. This paper describes centrifuge modeling tests of LNAPL migration in a sandy soil layer that were focused on a soil-cement barrier as the containment to protect the groundwater from contamination.
