BACKGROUND Centralization aims to reduce adverse patient outcomes by concentrating complex surgical procedures in specified hospitals. OBJECTIVES This review assessed the efficacy of centralization for knee arthroplasty by examining the relationship between hospital and surgeon volume and patient outcomes.
