PURPOSE Central neurocytoma is a rare intraventricular brain tumor that affects young adults and presents with increased intracranial pressure secondary to obstructive hydrocephalus. Typically, it has a favorable prognosis after adequate surgical intervention, but in some cases the clinical course is more aggressive.
