Little knowledge is available concerning the detailed anatomy of the crusctacean central olfactory pathway. We are using radiolabeling, Golgi and biocytin/neurobiotin tracer methodologies, at the correlated light and electron microscopical levels, to study the olfactory midbrain of the freshwater crayfish.
