Immortalized mouse neuroendocrine neurons (GN11 cells) were labelled with green fluorescent protein (GFP) fused to a microtubule-associated protein (doublecortin; green). Nuclei are stained blue. The image was obtained using a Zeiss Axioscope 2 microscope with a x43 immersion oil objective. Bar, 5 μm.
