This communication reports the selective load and transfer of positively charged functional species using a surfacemolecular-imprinted layer-by-layer (SMILbL) film attached to a polydimethlysiloxane (PDMS) stamp (SMILbL-PDMS). Layer-byLayer (LbL) assembly of a porphyrin/poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) complex and a diazo resin (DAR) on the PDMS surface, followed by photo-cross-linking of the multilayer and removal of the porphyrin template leads to the fabrication of SMILbL-PDMS stamps.
