The aim of this cross sectional study was to determine the prevalence of caries among school children age 6-14 years in Gadap Town, Karachi in relation to the level of knowledge of their parents to the oral health. Total sample size was 265 children from both sexes. Self-administered questionnaire and oral examination was carried out by a single operator. There were 135 boys and 130 girls.
