We derive a formula for the entropy for a multicomponent coupled fluid, which under special conditions reduces to the Cardy–Verlinde form relating the entropy of a closed FRW universe to its energy together with its Casimir energy. The generalized fluid obeys an inhomogeneous equation of state. A viscous dark fluid is included, and also modified gravity is included in terms of its fluid representation. It is demonstrated how such an expression reduces to the standard Cardy–Verlinde formula…
Quantum effects from particle production on background evolution and Cardy-Verlinde formula in f(R) gravity
• Physics
• 2011
We investigate particle production in an expanding universe under the assumption that the La- grangian contains the Einstein term R plus a modified gravity term of the form R , whereis a constant.
Modified Chaplygin gas equation of state on viscous dissipative extended holographic Ricci dark energy and the cosmological consequences
The present paper reports a study on modified Chaplygin gas (MCG)-based reconstruction scheme for extended holographic Ricci dark energy (EHRDE) in the presence of viscous type dissipative term. The
Viscous Ricci dark energy and generalized second law of thermodynamics in modified f(R, T) gravity

The motivation of this paper is to study the bulk viscosity effect in Ricci dark energy (RDE) model within the framework of modified f(R, T) gravity, where R is the Ricci scalar and T is the trace of

Along this review, we focus on the study of several properties of modified gravity theories, in particular on black-hole solutions and its comparison with those solutions in General Relativity, and
Israel-Stewart Approach to Viscous Dissipative Extended Holographic Ricci Dark Energy Dominated Universe
This paper reports a study on the truncated Israel-Stewart formalism for bulk viscosity using the extended holographic Ricci dark energy (EHRDE). Under the consideration that the universe is
Transition between phantom and non-phantom phases with time-dependent cosmological constant and Cardy-Verlinde formula
We investigate the transition phenomenon of the universe between a phantom and a non-phantom phase. Particular attention is devoted to the case in which the cosmological constant depends on time and
Entropic cosmology for a generalized black-hole entropy
• Physics
• 2013
An entropic-force scenario, i.e., entropic cosmology, assumes that the horizon of the Universe has an entropy and a temperature. In the present paper, in order to examine entropic cosmology, we
Viscous extended holographic Ricci dark energy in the framework of standard Eckart theory
In this paper, we report a study on the viscous extended holographic Ricci dark energy (EHRDE) model under the assumption of existence of bulk viscosity in the linear barotropic fluid and the EHRDE
A study of warm inflation model inspired by some inhomogeneous dark energy fluids
• Physics

Since the viscous effect plays an essential role in explaining the initial evolution of the present universe, therefore this paper is devoted to discussing an early cosmic phenomenon, i.e., warm

Entropy and universality of Cardy-Verlinde formula in dark energy universe
• Physics

We study the entropy of a FRW universe filled with dark energy (cosmological constant, quintessence, or phantom). For the general or time-dependent equation of state $p=w\ensuremath{\rho}$ the
Viscous cosmology and the Cardy-Verlinde formula
The holographic principle in a radiation dominated universe is extended to incorporate the case of a bulk-viscous cosmic fluid. This corresponds to a nonconformally invariant theory. Generalization
CARDY-VERLINDE ENTROPY FORMULA IN THE PRESENCE OF A GENERAL COSMOLOGICAL STATE EQUATION
As recently found by Youm [hep-th/0201268], the entropy of the universe will no longer be expressible in the conventional Cardy-Verlinde form if one relaxes the radiation dominance state equation and
