The spectrum of cardiac side-effects of cancer chemotherapy has expanded with the development of combination, adjuvant and targeted chemotherapies. Their administration in multiple regimens has increased greatly, including in older patients and in patients with cardiovascular and/or coronary artery disease (CAD).
