Peroxiredoxins (Prdxs), a family of antioxidant and redox-signaling proteins, are plentiful within the heart; however, their cardiac functions are poorly understood. These studies were designed to characterize the complex changes in Prdxs induced by oxidant stress in rat myocardium.
