One hundred ninety-six cases of patients with invasive squamous carcinoma of the cervix treated at the Mayo Clinic from 1960 to 1970 were evaluated for survival. All patients had been followed for at least five years; treatment was surgical, irradiation, or a combination of the two. The probability of survival was compared with grade and histologic type, with clinical staging taken into consideration.
