Calibrating soybean parameters in JULES5.0 from the US-Ne2/3 FLUXNET sites and the SoyFACE-O3 experiment
- 2020
Tropospheric ozone (O3) is the third most important anthropogenic greenhouse gas. O3 is detrimental to plant productivity, and it has a significant impact on crop yield. Currently, the Joint UK Land…

Mesoporous ferrihydrite-based iron oxide nanoparticles as highly promising materials for ozone removal.
- ChemistryAngewandte Chemie
- 2011
It is reported for the first time that the two-line ferrihydrite (2LFh) with accessible mesopores can be used as a potential candidate for O3 removal and it is shown that the presence of Fh nanoparticles in disordered mesostructured iron oxide has a significant effect on the bulk and surface structure of the material and on the activity.
Ozone-triggered rapid stomatal response involves the production of reactive oxygen species, and is controlled by SLAC1 and OST1.
- Biology, Environmental ScienceThe Plant journal : for cell and molecular biology
- 2010
It is shown that the ozone-triggered rapid transient decrease (RTD) in stomatal conductance coincided with a burst of ROS in guard cells, suggesting that it is a genetically robust response.

A Policy Suggestion for the Adaptation of Climate Change in Korea
- Environmental Science
- 2009
The purpose of this study is to describe the roles of carbon dioxide in the climate change, and carbon dioxide reduction policies in some countries. In addition, ways to cope with climate change in…
Design and assembly of an experimental laboratory for the study of atmosphere–plant interactions in the system of fumigation chambers
- Environmental ScienceEnvironmental monitoring and assessment
- 2009
The results showed that the system can be well applied to the study of atmospheric chemistry interactions and the effects on plants, and was built to be used with a single pollutant or a mix of them.
Positive Feedbacks and “ Tipping Points ” ( Think Twin Towers )
