Abstract

Matching fuel carbon profiles to micro algae strain fatty acid profiles allows for a minimal refining, maximum productivity output. A calculator for estimating the properties of fuels from the algae components was created and applied to the production of 1 barrel equivalent per day of oil. The profile matching occurs by minimizing the sum of squared error… (More)
