Summary:Carbon stocks and annual carbon stock changes in the tree biomass of German forests have been estimated. Data bases are inventory results (data of the Federal Forest Inventory and additional data sources, especially the “Forest Fund Database”), yield tables for modelling increment, and literature analyses (measurement results of biomass components in forests).
