We study the time evolution of the excess value of capacity of entanglement between a locally excited state and ground state in free, massless fermionic theory and free Yang-Mills theory in four spacetime dimensions. Capacity has non-trivial time evolution and is sensitive to the partial entanglement structure, and shows a universal peak at early times. We define a quantity, the normalized “Page time”, which measures the timescale when capacity reaches its peak. This quantity turns out to be a… Expand

Geometry of Krylov Complexity
We develop a geometric approach to operator growth and Krylov complexity in many-body quantum systems governed by symmetries. We start by showing a direct link between a unitary evolution with theExpand

Notes on quantum entanglement of local operators
A bstractThis is an expanded version of the short report arXiv:1401.0539, where we studied the time evolution of (Renyi) entanglement entropies for the excited state defined by acting a given localExpand
Aspects of capacity of entanglement
Many quantum information theoretic quantities are similar to and/or inspired by thermodynamic quantities, with entanglement entropy being a well-known example. In this paper, we study a lessExpand
Universal corrections to entanglement entropy of local quantum quenches

Probing Hawking radiation through capacity of entanglement
We consider the capacity of entanglement in models related with the gravitational phase transitions. The capacity is labeled by the replica parameter which plays a similar role to the inverseExpand
Quantum entanglement of localized excited states at finite temperature
A bstractIn this work we study the time evolutions of (Renyi) entanglement entropy of locally excited states in two dimensional conformal field theories (CFTs) at finite temperature. We considerExpand
Quantum dimensions from local operator excitations in the Ising model

Capacity of entanglement and the distribution of density matrix eigenvalues in gapless systems
We propose that the properties of the capacity of entanglement (COE) in gapless systems can efficiently be investigated through the use of the distribution of eigenvalues of the reduced densityExpand

TLDR
An exact formula is obtained for the entanglement entropy of the ground state and all excited states of the Kitaev model and a new quantity is proposed to characterize topologically ordered states--the capacity ofEntanglement, which can distinguish the topologically protected gapless entangler spectrum. Replica wormholes and capacity of entanglement
We consider the capacity of entanglement as a probe of the Hawking radiation in a two-dimensional dilaton gravity coupled with conformal matter of large degrees of freedom. A formula calculating theExpand
