109 Rapid distribution of human cercarial dermatitis foci at the verge of the 20th and 21st centuries, caused by aquatic larvae (cercaria) of trematods of the genera Bilharziella and Trichobilharzia of the Schistosoma tidae family, has turned up into a serious epidemiolog ical and economic problem. For example, a stable focus of cercarial dermatitis on Lake Naroch decreases the recreational potential and attractiveness for tourists of this famous Belarusian resort [1].
