We examined the cerebroprotective mechanism of cannabidiol, the non-psychoactive component of marijuana, against infarction in a 4-h mouse middle cerebral artery (MCA) occlusion model. Cannabidiol was intraperitoneally administrated immediately before and 3h after cerebral ischemia.
