Study of p53 gene over expression as a prognostic marker in squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity

In present study p53 expression is found to be significantly related with tobacco chewing, smoking, smoking and tumor grade and no association was found with alcohol consumption, which suggests that it can be used as a prognostic indicator in oral cavity cancers.
