  • AIMS To determine whether statins can reduce perioperative morbidity and mortality in patients undergoing non-cardiac vascular surgery. METHODS A search using Pubmed was performed to identify reports in English. The search terms were: "statins", "perioperative morbidity", "perioperative mortality" and "vascular surgery".
