A protein dynamics simulation of the photosynthetic reaction center of Rhodopseudonomonas viridis is performed by using the CHARMm program. A tyrosine (L162) bridges the electron donor-acceptor system of the proximate hem and special pair. This tyrosine is in the center of the setup which is used for the dynamics simulation.
