Calculation of Giant Magnetoresistance in Laterally Confined Multilayers

Abstract

We have studied the Giant Magnetoresistance (GMR) for laterally confined multilayers, e.g., layers of wires, using the classical Boltzmann equation in the current-in-plane (CIP) geometry.
