SummaryThe aggregation, leakage, and fusion of pure PS (phosphatidylserine) and mixed PS/PC (phosphatidylcholine) sonicated vesicles were studied by light scattering, the release of encapsulated carboxyfluorescein, and a new fusion assay which monitors the mixing of the internal compartments of fusing vesicles.
