Conventional Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) and state-of-theart Solid State Drives (SSDs) each has strengths and limitations in terms of latency, cost, and lifetime. To alleviate limitations and combine their advantages, hybrid storage solutions that combine HDDs and SSDs have been proposed [2, 3, 1, 4].
