Abstract. We present an up-to-date profile of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix with emphasis on the interpretation of recent CP-violation results from the B factories. For this purpose, we review all relevant experimental and theoretical inputs from the contributing domains of electroweak interaction. We give the “standard” determination of the apex of the Unitarity Triangle, namely the Wolfenstein parameters $\overline\rho$ and $\overline\eta$, by means of a global CKM fit. The fit is…
The 2004 UTfit collaboration report on the status of the unitarity triangle in the standard model
Using the latest determinations of several theoretical and experimental parameters, we update the Unitarity Triangle analysis in the Standard Model. The basic experimental constraints come from the
Global electroweak fit and vector-like leptons in light of the Cabibbo angle anomaly
Abstract The “Cabibbo Angle Anomaly” (CAA) originates from the disagreement between the CKM elements Vud and Vus extracted from superallowed beta and kaon decays, respectively, once compared via CKM
ΔACP within the Standard Model and beyond
Abstract In light of the recent LHCb observation of CP violation in the charm sector, we review standard model (SM) predictions in the charm sector and in particular for ΔA CP. We get as an upper

Some fine differences between the twin $b$-flavored unitarity triangles are calculated by means of a generalized Wolfenstein parametrization of the CKM matrix, and a possibility of experimentally
CP Violation and the CKM Matrix
Our knowledge of quark-flavor physics and CP violation increased tremendously over the past five years. It is confirmed that the Standard Model correctly describes the dominant parts of the observed
On the statistical treatment of the Cabibbo angle anomaly
We point out that testing the equality of the Cabibbo angle as extracted from Γ( K → πlν ), the ratio Γ( K → lν )/Γ( π → lν ) and nuclear β decays is not identical to a test of first row unitarity of
Quark Mixing and CP Violation — the Ckm Matrix
I summarize the theoretical progress in the determination of the CKM elements since Lepton-Photon 2003 and present the status of the elements and parameters of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM)
CP violation in the $B_s^0$ system
Experimental and theoretical studies of CP violation in the Bs0 system are reviewed. Updated predictions for the mixing parameters of the Bs0 mesons expected in the standard model (SM) are given,

Is the unitarity of the quark-mixing CKM matrix violated in neutron beta-decay?
TLDR
A new measurement of neutron beta-decay asymmetry is reported on, which finds a deviation from the unitarity condition for the first row of the CKM matrix of Delta = 0.0083(28), which is 3.0 times the stated error.
CP violation in the decays B0--> Psi KS and B0--> pi + pi -: A probe for new physics.
TLDR
To show how new physics may give very different results, this work looks at the predictions of a simple model where both the standard model and superweak contributions to the K 0 and B 0 mass matrices coexist and finds that practically any values are allowed for the asymmetries.
Determination of the Kobayashi-Maskawa-Cabibbo matrix element Vus under various flavor-symmetry-breaking models in hyperon semileptonic decays.
TLDR
This work studies the success to describe hyperon semileptonic decays of four models that incorporate second-order SU(3) symmetry breaking corrections and concludes that only the model whose corrections are O(m_s) and O( m_s^{3/2}) is successful.
V(cb) from OPE sum rules for heavy flavor transitions
We derive a model-independent upper bound for the axial-vector form factor of the $B\ra D^*$ transition at zero recoil, $F_{B\ra D^*}$. The form factor turns out to be noticeably less than unity. The
Kobayashi-Maskawa angles and SU(3) breaking in hyperon beta decay.
TLDR
This work reanalyzed the hyperon-decay data using the pattern of symmetry breaking predicted by the quark model including the center-of-mass correction and finds that the SU(3)-broken picture is far superior to the assumption of perfect SU( 3), and provides a good fit to experiment.
Measurement of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element V(ub) with B-->rhoenu decays.
TLDR
A measurement of the branching fraction for the rare decays B-->rhoenu and a value for the magnitude of V(ub), one of the smallest elements of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa quark-mixing matrix are presented.
Measurement of the CP-violating asymmetry amplitude $\sin 2\beta$
We present results on time-dependent CP-violating asymmetries in neutral B decays to several CP eigenstates. The measurements use a data sample of about 88 million {Upsilon}(4S) {yields} B{bar B}
